Each Curio puzzle is a hand-sized metal object built to come apart in a particular way. Solve them by sound, touch, and reasoning. Tolerances tight enough that the seams all but disappear. If a piece doesn't solve the same way every time, it doesn't ship. Designed in Raleigh, NC.

Nate and Damein founded Curio in 2024. They are fueled by a fascination with mechanical objects and perplexing things, they created Curio to share that obsession.

Column
The Column is a two-part mechanical puzzle that hides its mechanism inside a fluted form. The interior shuttle pops out easily. Putting it back in is a different problem. A hidden trick makes reassembly harder than the silhouette suggests, and the solution requires listening, feeling, and reasoning through the sequence rather than forcing anything.
